Making Sense of Things

Venn diagrams are elegant & simple, an attempt to impose order so as to create meaning. Here, they are visual & conceptual spaces where selective memory & reductive logic attempt to form connections & make conclusions. Delicate & hand-drawn, they draw from constructed history, loss, desire, failure, success, feelings of inarticulateness, the frustrations of trying to relate. The series explores the discrepancies – the both/neither relationships – between these insecurities, obsessions, & idiosyncrasies.
