Sandstorm
Sandstorm is a series of paper sculptures designed through the use of computer modeling software and rendered in real life through the use of various software and CNC paper cutting. Once the pieces are cut out, they are assembled by hand to recreate the computer model in real life and then transforming it to a different shape due to the properties of the material and artist manipulation.
The shapes have an organic feel and are made out of material that people can easily relate to (paper). They can also be lit with the use of led lighting on the interior of the objects as well.
