women for sale: amsterdam sex workers
While living in Germany, I took holiday in the fantasy land of Amsterdam and surrounding areas of Holland. The most mind altering experience was when I began to mentally challenge the normalcy of this red light district and the degradation towards women that has become a fully accepted part of society there. As a feminist artist with a voice, I felt my voice once again would be the loudest when expressed in acrylic.
These latest additions to my “Eyes in Amsterdam” series really explore the vibrant lights and the human traffic for selfish impersonal gain. I can finally put down the brush for a few long breaths, as this series has by far been the most emotional yet.
I hope you enjoy meeting The Customers, The Ladies and the product. Please join me for the rest of the series, at http://margaretdesigns.net/amsterdamseries.html

vivid images, similar to some Kirchner, the german painter.
I love the colors in these images!
I really like the pictures and the style you used. My favourite one is image1….
Uh, are you like voting for yourself?
Image 1 for sure. Beautiful array of colors, but the feeling comes alive with the actual art itself. Speaks many words.
i’ve been to Amsterdam, and now i feel like i’m in Red light Strict. i like the colors.
those nips seem to be voting for themselves
am the artist, as well as the artist of “eyes in deutschland” and i have REALLY enjoyed being part of this competition, and seeing and sharing with all the other artists. unfortunately some of my devoted fans have somehow abused the voting system, but i just want to say that i dont care if i win or not, as it would be nice to be among the top, i am happy to be part of the whole pie, and perhaps enter anonymously next time. there are some MIND blowing paintings and other creations in this competition! cheers!
