Shadow Play employs lighting and shadow window (showing the shadow of the puppets and their movements on the screen) to create a strong-content performance yet of blurring, mysterious, and graceful images.
The paintings brings back the artist’s childhood memory and reveals his nostalgia for traditional Taiwanese culture in the early days.
