My work explores the relationship between life as performance and emotional memories. With influences as diverse as Da Vinci and Buckminster Fuller, new synergies are distilled from both explicit and implicit textures. I am fascinated by the theoretical limits of the mind. What starts out as triumph soon becomes corroded into a tragedy of power, leaving only a sense of failing and the unlikelihood of a new reality. As undefined phenomena become undefined through frantic and diverse practice, the viewer is left with an impression of the edges of our future.

In my belief, the eyes offer a sense of truth, passion, and honesty. The start of this project displays dreamers and artists, all studying, producing, or maintaining a creative lifestyle. The continuation of this project will not only contain artists and dreamers, but anyone with aspirations for present and future.

As I always say, “We Are The Artists.”

The horrid realm of things which remain unseen…

In the Copenhagen ZOO nine bridges were buildt at places where a puddle would form – in case of rain. People could now cross the puddle without wetting their feet. Furthermore, a map was drawn showing the placement of the bridges and mapping out the direction-flow of the ZOO’ rainwater-system.

My intention for this series of images is to place the photograph into a new context.  To yield the images a product of design, rather than a representation of the actual objects that were photographed, thus becoming a recontextualisation of how we view photography as a medium.  This implies a change in meaning of the traditional photograph into something new and pensive.

These photographic mandalas are a representation of nature in a meditative state, and how nature has meant repose and reflection in my life.  The circular shape of these madalas represents centeredness, a working of the inside out, and a contemplation of how life comes full circle.  These images are composed of sixteen sections of mirrored images, creating an eight segmented design. This number eight represents infinity with regards to the circular form.

Untitled [Cochlea] began in 2006 and was completed in 2008. The sculpture is made of my fingernails collected over 2 years.
