I’m a french self-taught painter living in America and my work was exhibited in France, Germany, Belgium…. My favorite subject is human body : when painting bodies, the image needs to be treated like the flesh. Whats needs to be captured on the canvas is the sensitive surface, the bodily interiority to make it appear suddenly so that it touches the spectator’s nerves. Straight away. The human body is itself a space but also a place of death at work. Painting human body is to try and grasps the stillness of time going by, to look for the organic in order to create a visceral painting, to allow a new bodily language to flow.
