I really enjoy taking a blank canvas to make something that I have never made before. I create my paintings to clarify the meaning a thing, person, or place. The ideas for these digital paintings came about and were created during the midst of the Art Revolution. It was where my 21st century technology collided with my artistic tradition.
For me, the process to create each painting is like starting with an ebb of water that intensifies to a fifty-foot surf wave and then settles down to an ebb of water again. I seek to engage the viewers and draw them into each painting.
