The physical world is universally the same, yet the human mind is able to abstract these organic elements into new identities with new meaning. At times, this ability reaches extremes that catapult one into a metaphysical realm, temporarily blurring one’s sense of reality. My images represent the realms my own mind creates: a fusion of my dreams, emotions, and physical surrounding. An abstract blend of photography and graphic design allows me to mirror this process. Through the lens of a camera, I capture the tangible world in a physically abstracted form. Going further, the infinite methods of digital editing allow me to further refine a more perfect representation of the realms only I see.
