Physically interacting with the print of a photograph before it’s crystalized gives me a platform of control to re-imagine the rhetoric of the image without relying on digital manipulation. The process was developed intuitively, but the motivation comes from the constant visual stimulation provided by the enormous dissemination of digital images into daily life through all media.
