The images submitted continue to underscore my main theme of the show, and that is of the diversity available to the contemporary artist in using media, styles, forms and processes in a broad swath of creative activity. It is a rejection of the notion that an emerging artist must focus, and narrow the field of their activity. On the contrary, an artist who explores much, learns much. And expands their artistic vocabulary as well as finds their own “sweet spot” that best suits them in the making of art.
